Why is the World’s Most Vaccinated Country Having a COVID Surge?

There’s something happening on the other side of the world that has experts scratching their heads.

The news in question is happening in the small nation of the Seychelles, which is an archipelago of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean located off the coast of East Africa. The Seychelles is known for its numerous beaches, coral reefs and nature reserves, as well as being home to rare animals such as giant Aldabra tortoises.

It’s also the most vaccinated nation on earth, currently at 62.2% vaccination for its population of 97,600.

The problem is simple: the Chinese vaccines they’re using aren’t working. And in fact the Seychelles is having a huge COVID surge.

What Vaccines is the Seychelles Using?

The Seychelles is using two main vaccines: the Sinopharm COVID shots and Covishield vaccines made under license in India for AstraZeneca. Now we all now that AstraZeneca has been getting awful press for its blood clots and bad reactions, even being banned in Europe, but it turns out that in addition to negative effects, these Chinese and Indian vaccines … just don’t work.

At the end of April on April 28, the Seychelles’ tiny population had 612 cases. By May 3 that number cranked up to 1,068. There are some tourists in the Seychelles currently enjoying the beautiful nature, but 84% of those May 3 cases are locals, not foreigners.

Over 33% of those infected have had two doses of the COVID vaccine, and the rest have had only one dose or not gotten vaccinated yet. But why are so many people still getting COVID who’ve been vaccinated?

The Sinopharm Chinese vaccine was given to the Seychelles by the UAE. According to its Chinese manufacturers, it’s 79% effective once you get both doses and the UAE tested it and said actually it’s even higher at 86% efficacy.

However, the head of China’s CDC recently acknowledged that their vaccines aren’t very good, and the UAE started giving people a third Sinopharm dose to try to get them protected. As UAE doctors said there are “low numbers of antibodies produced in some people” from the vaccine.

Translation? The Chinese commie vaccines don’t work.

Comparing the Numbers

The UAE is also one of the most vaccinated nations in the world, just below Israel. Then comes the UK. In other words, Seychelles is first, then Israel, then UAE, then UK.

The Seychelles isn’t seeing the kind of fall in numbers that Israel and others have seen, which could also be partly due to their tourism numbers and proximity to the South African and Indian variations of COVID which the vaccines have a harder time stopping.

The Pfizer vaccine and others aren’t great against some of these variants, but they’re obviously better than the Sinopharm or AstraZeneca.

Israel, for example, is mainly using Pfizer and they’re down to 70 cases per day and 13 deaths a day average, which is a 99% drop from how high it was a few months ago during their winter surge.

The Western vaccines have various questions that need to be asked about their safety and how exactly they work, but it’s clear that they’re at least functioning at a much higher level than the Chinese vaccines.

As usual we see the pattern of China lying to the world and trying to cover up the start of COVID so that none of us could prepare, and then sending out their crap vaccines to countries struggling with COVID that don’t even work. This probably comes as no surprise to those who’ve bought a Made in China product only to have it break two days later.

There’s a reason American-made is always better.
