New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is a massive hero in his own mind. He single-handedly saved New York City from the worst virus of all time with his amazing insights and actions, while also even finding time to write a book about what a hero he is.
Reality is just a little bit different.
In fact, it’s so different that calls to impeach Cuomo and even see him behind bars are growing.
It turns out that exposing thousands of vulnerable elderly people to COVID-19 because of your specific order doesn’t make you popular in a city that’s struggled horribly with the disease.
Those who’ve lost loved ones in particular, have also lost patience with Cuomo’s lies and dodging of responsibility.
Cuomo and the Media vs. the American People
Despite ongoing support from the completely biased mainstream media, Cuomo’s lies are still eventually catching up to him. He’s now seriously looking at impeachment and possible time in prison.
The head of New York’s Republican Party demanded that Cuomo face prosecution, impeachment and be taken out of office.
It comes after even more revelations about the wrongdoing done by Cuomo, including a top Cuomo staff member admitting to Democratic state politicians that the governor’s office “froze” when they found out they’d have to give over more data on nursing homes.
If Cuomo and his office committed obstruction of justice that’s no laughing matter. The over 12,000 nursing home deaths in his state reflect very poorly on his demand that nursing homes take COVID patients, exposing many elderly people to death.
Congresswoman Elise Stefanik emphasized that Cuomo needs to face justice.
“New York is under Democrat control. But. New York’s own attorney general, an acolyte of Cuomo, recently published a blistering report on his conduct of the COVID pandemic, specifically, how his administration undercounted the deaths in nursing homes on his watch by about 50%. That could also be a deliberate cover-up.”
So when does Andrew Cuomo’s impeachment process start? Because he actually got thousands of people killed.

This isn’t Just About ‘Politics’
Cuomo has been very dismissive about the accusations against him so far, implying they’re just about politics. In fact he’s gone so far as to say: “who cares where they died?”
As an egotistical progressive loudmouth, he has no interest in taking responsibility or facing up to the awful consequences of his order that nursing homes take COVID positive patients.
New York’s Department of Health possibly left out this data under Cuomo’s orders, which is a very serious offence.
“Preliminary data obtained by O.A.G. suggests that many nursing home residents died from Covid-19 in hospitals after being transferred from their nursing homes, which is not reflected in D.O.H.’s published total nursing home death data,” according to the New York Office of the Attorney General.
Cuomo could be in real trouble, and he deserves to be. His callus disinterest in the consequences of his decisions is a perfect reflection of the Democratic party as a whole. They would rather blame Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for not closing enough schools or talking about masks enough, even though Florida has lower COVID rates than New York.
Progressives don’t want to own up to the disasters right in their own backyard, because it would involve how much of the actions their officials took in lockdowns and restrictions were not only counterproductive – but actually killed people.
It’s vital that conservatives and everyone who is interested in justice keep pushing this issue and focusing on Cuomo. He deserves to be condemned fully and discover that he’s not above the law and that all those who lost loved ones are real people whose lives matter.
