Mexican Guards Being Blamed For Trapping Migrants in Deadly Fire at Detention Center

When Trump was in charge, we heard a lot from the left about cruelty and human rights abuses. They claimed enforcing border law was mean and keeping migrants in detention centers was unfair.

Though the truth is the Trump administration and border agents showed remarkable restraint and humanity in a very tense situation, treating migrants with respect and decency.

Whereas that’s not the case on the other side of the border in Mexico; sickening new video shows Mexican detention guards leaving migrants to die in a fire.

Horrifying Footage

Horrifying footage from the event shows guards earlier this week leaving the detention center to let Central American migrants burn to death in Juarez, Mexico.

The detention center near the US border lit on fire, reportedly after migrants protested deportation back to their home countries by lighting their mattresses on fire.

They’d come to Mexico in search of a better life, likely to try to get to the US, but Mexico stuck them in a facility and then let them burn to death.

Instead of saving these people from Nicaragua, Guatemala, and other places in Central America, the cowardly guards headed for the exits and left them to suffocate and die.

Migrants were kicking at the door and trying to open it, but the guards had no interest and coldly left with zero human compassion.

‘Terrible Tragedy’

Mexico’s President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said this was a protest gone wrong and a “terrible tragedy” for these migrants. Mexicans and people around the world are understandably outraged.

Unlike the United States, Mexico is not a nation of human rights, law, or common decency; it’s a narcoterrorist-run territory controlled by heartless thugs.

This is how things go in other countries where real abuses and inhumanity happen, unlike America where our border agents are trying their best to deal with the crisis and would never allow this kind of thing to happen.

The Bottom Line

There’s a reason so many people want to come to the United States and it’s not just money.

America is much better in almost every way than countries like Mexico. America has the right to peacefully protect its border from illegal immigration, while also pointing out the horrific human rights abuses of our southern neighbor.
