Disney Plus Cancels a Number of Popular Cartoons Including Peter Pan and Dumbo for ‘Racist’ Imagery

Disney Plus is an American channel that has almost no relation to the Disney of past years.

It’s not about imagination, adventure, magic and fun anymore. Instead it’s a company run by humorless, progressive hacks who fill the airwaves with social justice propaganda and cancel old favorites to satisfy the constantly-growing list of demands.

The latest children’s classic cartoons to hit the chopping block are Peter Pan, Dumb and the Aristocrats. These films are no longer available in the kids section of Disney Plus because they supposedly show “racist” stereotypes that are hurtful.

The reasons that Disney gives for pulling these films would be laugh-out-loud funny if it wasn’t real life.

We are living in George Orwell’s 1984, but it’s not nearly as dramatic or interesting as people expected: it’s just stupid as hell.

Why Does Disney Say it Pulled the Films?

According to Disney’s statements, each popular cartoon had to be scrapped for various reasons. In the case of Dumbo it had to hit the trash can because “the crows and musical number pay homage to racist minstrel shows, where white performers with blackened faces and tattered clothing imitated and ridiculed enslaved Africans on Southern plantations.”

Disney goes on:

“The leader of the group in Dumbo is Jim Crow, which shares the name of laws that enforced racial segregation in the Southern United States.”

What About Peter Pan?

When it comes to Peter Pan it’s hard to think about what issue Disney found, but apparently they say “the film portrays Native people in a stereotypical manner that reflects neither the diversity of Native peoples nor their authentic cultural traditions.”

The horror.

Even worse:

“Peter and the Lost Boys engage in dancing, wearing headdresses and other exaggerated tropes.”

Can you imagine the trauma it must cause various Native cultures to see a cartoon of kids having fun dancing around with their traditions? How absolutely horrible. Disney is so heroic for pulling this off air and protecting kids from it.

As long as kids can still listen to Cardi B sing about women’s private parts we can all sleep in peace at night knowing that our society is still built on a strong foundation.

And the Aristocrats…?

OK, you’re thinking, you managed to come up with some crazy stuff on Peter Pan and Dumbo, but what about the Aristocrats? How could that possibly be considered offensive?

According to Disney, “the Siamese cat Shun Gon is depicted as a racist caricature of East Asian peoples with exaggerated stereotypical traits such as slanted eyes and buck teeth.”

Did Disney say Asians have bad teeth and that slanted eyes are bad? Because that sounds like the kind of racist crap they claim to be opposed to.

In any case, adults will still be able to watch these “racist” cartoons if they want – and let their kids watch them – they will just have to first read a warning saying “this program includes negative depictions and/or mistreatment of people or cultures. These stereotypes were wrong then and are wrong now. Rather than remove this content, we want to acknowledge its harmful impact, learn from it and spark conversation to create a more inclusive future together.”

The warning will be added to other movies including the Lady and the Tramp and the Swiss Family Robinson just to make sure nobody is exposed to anything the least bit politically incorrect or dated.

At this point there’s no other option except to boycott Disney and woke corporations similar to it. They have made it clear where they stand on multiple occasions and are now engaging in creepy censorship of cartoons in order to appease some aggressive leftist mob. They don’t deserve to have subscribers and viewers anymore.
