Antifa Lawyers Up For Trial in NYC Attacks

The summer of 2020 was a dark time in the history of our nation. Following the death of George Floyd, Black Lives Matter (BLM) and Antifa rioters tried to burn down the country.

If that sounds like an exaggeration, just take a look at the footage from that summer. You will see burning police stations and vehicles, smashed storefronts, protesters beating innocent people, and widespread looting and vandalism.

Like I said, it was a dark time.

We were told the rampant violence was somehow “fighting racism” and our liberal media cheered it on. They were joined by many on the left in universities and other institutions, like the legal field.

Now, two woke lawyers who helped Antifa are potentially headed to jail for a very long time.

What Are They Accused of?

Urooj Rahman and Colinford Mattis (no apparent relation to James) made waves in the summer of 2020 for trying to commit a terrorist act. Specifically, they stuffed bottles full of burning rags and tried to firebomb New York City cops.

These wannabe terrorist scum were arrested at the scene. They were identified soon after, going on to make an endless amount of plea deals and try to wrangle their way out of domestic terrorism charges.

Those charges could have seen them both headed to jail for life. However, they are now successfully negotiating a smaller charge of conspiracy to commit harm that will likely result in a lot less time locked up.

These pencil-pushing fools made a chemical Molotov cocktail and drove by a police station where Rahman threw it into a police car and drove off in a getaway car piloted by Mattis.

Everything they did was caught on surveillance and they were identified.

Police stations tend to have a lot of surveillance cameras outside them, as those of us understand who are not living in a legal ivory tower and supporting Antifa terrorists and BLM Marxists.

Will Justice Be Served?

As lawyers, Rahman and Mattis have been able to pursue a clever strategy of getting away with an attempted terror attack.

Last year, they pleaded guilty to making explosives. They also got that whittled down to conspiracy to make explosives, which only has a maximum penalty of five years behind bars.

The real verdict likely to be delivered on this kind of charge is a few months in prison or a large fine and probation. In other words, a slap on the wrist for trying to kill our police officers in the middle of a national emergency.

Is it just me or does that sound like sickening privilege?

Mattis had more Molotovs waiting in his car to throw. Rahman said she believes in “violence” in order to get her point across and have her voice “heard.”

Why are they getting off so easy with only one conspiracy charge?

This looks a lot like two coddled leftists getting an easy ride because of connections and being on the popular side of a political issue where they pretend to care about black people.
